A site for homeless Silky Terriers and their cousins.

Welcome

Dedicated to my beautiful old ladies,

------------------
Welcome to an Australia wide site specially for Silky Terriers, their crosses, and their cousins the Yorkie and Aussie Terriers.

There has been a recent change to site format - I have less time to add dogs from all over the country so am just adding feature dogs
as well as the ones under SilkyRescueAustralia here in Sydney
.

To streamline adoption inquiries please use the the Questionnaire page

Star Silkies

Suzie - Silky Terrier - Female - 12 years

Suzie is the cutest munchkin ever! She is a dream to care for. She is house trained, doggie door savvy, friendly with all people and other dogs and a cuddle specialist.

She has her health issues - a heart murmur, a mammary tumour and arthritis - but the only medication she needs is for pain relief and a help from arthritis supplements.

The pain relief has seen her much more agile, dancing around my feet at dinner time and home comings.

She is a tiny girl who would do well in a quiet home. She is too small and delicate for children but suit other older children and  particularly older people.

She would like to sleep all night in a tiny, cosy bed beside yours.

Her coat is easy care and needs only a regular brush and a trim around her face and feet occasionally.

She may not have a lot of years left but she has brings such joy into a house it's hard to see her miss out.
